Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small files a site places on your device. We use them, along with pixels and similar tools, to keep the Site working and to understand how people find and use it. The tools we use are Wix, which hosts the Site and provides visitor analytics; Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics; Google Ads and the Meta pixel, which measure results from our advertising on Google, Facebook and Instagram; and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Our forms also use automated tools to block bot submissions.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking all of them may break parts of the Site. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, manage Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com and manage Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.

Who we share information with
Service providers. Companies that run parts of our business, including our website host, email and form platform, analytics and advertising providers, phone service and any subcontractors or suppliers who need project details to do their part of the work. They may use your information only to provide that service to us.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information when the law requires it, in response to a subpoena or government request, to enforce our agreements, or to protect our rights, property or safety and that of our clients and crew.

Business transfer.

If the business is sold, merged or reorganized, client and inquiry information may transfer as part of that transaction.

Project photography and marketing
We photograph and film our work during construction and after completion, and we use those images in our portfolio, on social media, in advertising and in printed materials. This is how we show what we build.

We do not publish a client’s name or the address of the property without written permission. Where an image shows a recognizable person, including a minor, we obtain written consent from the homeowner before publishing it.

How long we keep information
Inquiries that do not turn into projects are kept for up to three years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to it. Client project records, including contracts, change orders, plans, permits and photographs, are kept for at least six years after completion to support our warranty obligations and to meet Washington contractor licensing, insurance, tax and recordkeeping requirements. We keep information longer where the law requires it.

How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. The Site runs over HTTPS, so information you submit through our forms is encrypted in transit, and access to client records is limited to the people who need it. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers or other highly sensitive information through the Site or by email. If we need something like that, we will tell you a safer way to send it.

Your privacy choices

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you

  • Correct information that is wrong

  • Delete information we no longer need to keep

  • Stop sending you marketing emails, texts or calls

  • Remove your project photos from our marketing

Email or call us using the details at the end of this policy and tell us what you would like us to do. We may ask a question or two to confirm who you are, and we will take care of it promptly. Some records we are required to keep, such as signed contracts, permits and tax records, and we will tell you if that applies.

Children
The Site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. Photographs showing a recognizable minor are never published without written consent from the homeowner.

Links to other sites
The Site links to other companies, including manufacturers, review platforms and social media. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. Read their privacy policies before you share anything with them.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The effective date at the bottom shows the most recent version.
